Worst tiller always
This car sucks if you accept any stones/rocks in the area you’re trying to till. If it hits anything at all, it’ll try to take off and practically rip your artillery out of their sockets. Have had information technology tip over twice. Tin’t adjust speed from the handle confined – you need to stop tilling and adjust the throttle manually. Burned upwardly the belt on 2nd apply (yes, information technology was adjusted per instructions!). Exist careful if you put information technology into reverse; the reverse speed volition come shut to running you over. Troy-bilt has always had a revered proper noun and great reputation, which is why we purchased the unit. Sorry we did.

shifting problems
The tiller does non want to shift or gets jammed in forrard or reverse positions. Currently the tiller stays in gear and runs frontwards or opposite the kill switch is the merely style to stop information technology. I just purchased it in Apr non I take to bring information technology to a shop.

I merely bought my troy Bilt mustang tiller today, I didn’t have it tilling for 10 minutes before I sucked a large flat stone up in reverse rotation and jammed it, bent one of the times which went into the gearbox only that was my error, but exist careful when you’re in reverse rotation you don’t exercise this, my proposition would be use but in forwards rotation until you know your soil is clean and gratis of larger rocks, I did remove the bolo tine and aptitude it back, continued tilling for several hours! I love this machine so far!!

Overall groovy tiller!
I’ve had this for a couple of months now. There’s lots to be enjoyed near this model; however, one issue can exist a deal breaker for some. The manual is very difficult to shift about of the fourth dimension. I always take to resort to grabbing at the auto and pull/push pretty hard instead of using the lever (lever bends besides easy) and usually have to fiddle around with hitting the engage lever to loosen up on the inside.
